On Wednesday May 3rd the Government of Puerto Rico filed for Title III protection under the Puerto Rico Oversight, Management, and Economic Stability Act or PROMESA.
This action has no impact on Puerto Rico’s travel and tourism services for visitors to the island. This includes the operations of our airports, hotels & resorts, taxis and other transportation, tour operators, banks, attractions and restaurants across the island. All of Puerto Rico’s essential services including public safety and healthcare remain fully operational.
Puerto Rico remains open for business for visitors with current travel plans to the island. We look forward to continuing to welcome guests from around the world to this popular travel destination so that they can enjoy the many diverse experiences Puerto Rico has to offer.
